I have been working for 2 months already as laboratory technologist at SGH. I quite like the job although the working condition is a bit stressful and tiring. Basically in this 2 months, I have been learning how to do blood taking, conducting ECG and laboratory work. Furthermore, there are lots of self studying required. I will survive and do my job well but mostly working happily. I must stay positive. Another one more month to go before my probation end and mostly probably before I'm posted to work in the polytechnic; pray hope I'm posted somewhere near my house =)

Oh well, that is all of me ranting and back to my normal life =)

Went for Piano lesson and it was quite fun. Piano exams is coming soon and I'm still struggling with the songs. Miss Tay tested me on aural and sight reading it is simply to hard to score =( Have a urge to knock myself on the wall.

Found something interesting on youtube. It is touching and seriously it will touch people's heart and maybe even cry while watching. Do enjoyed the video =)

Things are changing

Went for my piano lesson that I have reschedule. The new piano teacher is nice and I kind of like her. She will be my third piano teacher, hope I wouldn't be changing teacher again. After the piano lesson, went to meet Randal, Wei Jie and Yik Hung at JP instead at BB since they leave early. Went to KFC to chit-chat about the CO stuffs.

No more going to BBCO.

Went for another job interview again at NUH. On the way there, I received a call from SGH that they are keen in hiring me that I went for the job interview that I went on Tuesday. Yipppeee!!! Now all I have to wait is to sign the contract that they prepare before Ｉ officially start working.

Went for the job interview at SGH. This would be my fourth time interview I would be going. Hope everything goes well and I will get the job since the working place is at the polyclinic so it will be office hours so my time would be more flexible if I get the job.

After that, travelled back home and later travelled to RP for CO practice as usual. Totally exhausted.

Music Time

My day started off with music and ended with music too =) Practice Xiao Ruan and it was quite fun. Really like the instrument. Next, practicing piano songs and my most hate thing currently, which is the major and minor scales. Scales is the hard, we need memorize so many different scales and the correct fingering for each scale. I will die tomorrow in Miss Tham's hand =(

I found a lot of interesting, touching and amazing composition by JOE HISAISHI. He is the best composer I haven seen, his songs are amazing. I will just suck into his music that he compose =)

I super like his composition.
Is like an addiction.
I think I'm his fan.

Another day of CO

Went to meet Randal at bugis to shop for strings for CO instruments. I think being in the plucked string section is quite a "expensive section", since we need to change the strings regularly to maintain the quality of the sound that the instrument produce. =(

Travelled back to school and practice songs that I really haven touched for weeks which BBCO will be preforming it on July, where we will be combining with other CC in Singapore. I can feel the rust in me already =( Is quite stressful situation now, players from the other CC are quite good. There will be a tendency that people would be comparing one another skills and talent. OMG!!! Have to practice even harder =)

CO practice session is as usual. After CO practice session, went to Long John Silver with Gene and Woon Fang =) Have an interesting chit chat session with them. Hope next time, we can have another chit chat session again.

I have been officially been a babysitter for don't know how many time this month. Looking after my niece is an super tiring job and sometime I can't denied that I'm really getting old. LOL!!! I just don't know where she gets her energy from. But we have a quite a fun time together and our bonding is closer. =)

Piano lesson

Went for Piano lesson and ended up got scolded for not practice well enough. It really scares me out =( Need to be mentally prepared for the piano examination for next year. Piano examination pieces would be harder than the grade 1. But this time, I hope I can get a better grade this time =)

PS: Supposed to be going KITE FLYING and ended CANCELED!!!!!!!! This is the second time they promise me and ended not going. Haiz. Will go some other time =)

Went to JP to shop for Doris 21st Birthday present. Hope she likes the present that I prepared. I have know her since I was Primary 5 at some tuition center so it should be around 10 years plus of friendship. It is amazing that 10 years have pass already since meeting her. LOL!!!

Couldn't sleep the whole night. Thanks to the honey milk tea I drank for dinner at school last night =( Woke up in a super grumpy mood and brain dead. Don't feel like doing anything or talk to anyone but Zhong-ge still manage to irritates me the whole morning and afternoon. Feeling like chopping him. AHHHHHH!!!!!

Decided to skip CO practice for the day. Went out with Lao ma and Zhong-ge to IKEA to shop for his stuffs. Shop almost for 3 hours plus and nearly vomited blood out. Can feel the blood rushing to my head, almost giving me a stroke. Driving me nuts!! But later on, everything went well. Manage to get his stuffs he wanted. Happy ending =)

A lesson learnt

Went to RPCO for practice session. The year 1 batch came for practice as well and is a bit of chaotic.

PS: I think I have seriously learnt a lesson at the end of the day.

Well, this particular person had left me with a "not a good impression" of herself.
Was talking about what she had done and said.

But thinking back,
I am also at fault too.
I should not have judge her like that at the first time of meeting her.
Maybe she that the way she is or maybe not?
Who knows!
Thus, I should get to know her more before passing any judgment on her.

Lesson learnt!!
I shall never do that again!!

Got the call that I was schedule with another interview at a different lab =)
This meant the previous interview that I went, has failed =(
But doesn't matter!!!!
Hope this would be the last interview I would be going!!!

I often wonder that does praying really help.
Maybe it does work or maybe not, I have really no idea.
Hopefully, this would be the last praying that I would be making.
It is making me mentally exhausted.
Giving false hopes all the times =(

Interesting day

Went to Bugis with Randal, Yik Heng and Xiu Ru. Supposedly should be going to Eason to get strings but since today is Labour Day, the shop is closed. We ended up wondering aimlessly for a few hours before travelling down to the SAJC for their concert.

The concert overall is not bad. But the best best item is the Czardas by Yang Qin, it is perfectly. Thumbs up. The mandolin concerto in C major by Liu Qin, is also another nice item too. After the concert, went to Mac to have dinner. The whole day was quite fun.

Performance

Performance was fine although only 50 people attended. After the performance, went to TRCC Arts Bites to have dinner with the rest. Trained home with Mei Ling, Xiu Ru, Shu Zhen and her friends.

PS: Something happen. It is freaking disturbing and it is driving people nuts for sure. Hope there is no second time =(

SLA Performance

Went for the interview and a lot of thing happen on the way. Took the bus to the interchange and I somehow lost my wallet when I was alighting the bus. Wasted a lot of time searching for the wallet. LOL!!! Supposed to take the shutter bus to the place but the queue was freaking long. Ended up taking taxi to the place instead.

Travelled to school for the SLA performance. Performance was alright. After the performance, went to PCO. Have roti prata for dinner, yummy =) Attend theory lesson at PCO. Lesson was quite fun and interesting.

Tiring and hungry day

Went to booth at 12 plus to help out till CO practice session starts. The more you stay at the booth, the more you will get crazy. Other IGs are blasting music out loud and it is has become a torture for me. Having a urge to cut away their power supply. Went to CO practice and was completely tired. Energy was drained out completely.

Hoping to have some dinner at home but ended up going to sleep with a empty stomach, since Lao pa eat my share =(

The journey of life isn't that simple and what we often expect it to be.
No doubt, but it is true.
People often said that "Life is full of colours".
But why is it so?

Basically, each day, challenges/obstacles are thrown to us.
Each individual has their own way of response to it.
Each different response display a specific colour.
This is why "Life is interesting".

A person showing angry towards challenges would displaying red.
A person showing sadness towards challenges would displaying blue.
A person showing happiness towards challenges would display yellow.
This vary from person to person.

No matter what colour is display or responses to the challenges/obstacles.
We have to remember that we have to overcome it.
We should not let it defeat us so easily.
Otherwise we would be stuck at the same place.
Suffering over again and again.

At first thought of facing the challenges/obstacles,
We may feel helpless.
Complaining over matters.
Blaming god for putting in such a situation.
But this is common response for everyone.

But at the second thought of it,
Being thrown with challenges/obstacles is isn't a bad thing.
Sooner or later,
We will start to appreciate the presence of it.

Each time,
We will surely learn something out of it.
Deep down in your heart,
Emotions and mind will be open.

I believe that you can overcome it =)
You have friends around you,
So you can ask them for help.
Sometimes we just need another helping hand.
Don't think it is troublesome,
As a good friend don't bother about such stuffs.

Busy day

Got a call early in the morning that I was schedule with a interview on this coming Thursday. Yippe!!! Hope everything goes well for the interview.

Went to CO since there is a preview for the SLA fiesta performance. The overall thing was causing people to be unhappy about it. Besides that, we got a scolding from the TRCC people and given an accusation that RPCO is hard to work with. LOL!!!!

After that, Mei Ling and I went to help to decorate the booth with the new committee members, since only four of them are doing it. By the time we completed decorating the booth is already 10 plus, which is freaking late. Trained home and reach home at 12am. Completely brain dead =(

Went to BB for CO practice as usual. Went throught the new song called "The Galloping Comedians". It is a super interesting and cute song althought the speed is super fast. Have to practice more =)

Went back home first and wait for Long-ge to come back home. Was laughing like crazy the whole day. Wanted to ask him to wait for us at JP but too bad he doesn't have a phone =( So we are not able to contact him =(

So I always joke around that if we wanted to find him, we will have to call the public phone to get to him. Evil me >.< Finally, Long-ge got his phone =)

Get scalded by the hot steam in the morning and it is painful =( Although, a small patch of redness on the skin is show but it is pain when u accidentally touch it.

Meet up with Yu Xin to get the graduation attire and attendance card for the graduation ceremony. Decided to borrow from one of the CO senior instead of buying the whole set which cost around $25.

Went to TRCC cafe and chat a long time. She is a super funny person and has not change much since Year 1. She is a great friend from my year 1 semester 1 classmate =) While we were eating, she complaint to me that I eat very slow and she has to slow down her eating pace to accommodate with my eating pace. LOL!!! Okay la, I admit that there are times that I eat very slow.

Woke up by a call =) After days of waiting, I got a call to go for a job interview on this coming Monday =) Hope the interview will go well and officially starting working there. All the best to me =)

Went to frontier for CO practice. Randal was the Tan Po Yue lao shi. He is kind of busy. He is doing his best to teach us. He surely can be a good teacher since he have been teaching me how to play the songs all the time. After CO, went to chit chat with gene at Mac.

Decided to skip CO and since it is a super long time I visited yi yi. Lao ma is super funny, we went to the wrong level and she anyhow press the door bell of the unknown house assuming that is yi yi's house. Stay at yi yi's house quite long and nearly doze off. Lao ma and yi yi were chatting and I was practically rotting over there.

Instead of going home empty handed, yi yi gives us a lot of stuffs ranging from food to bags. LOL!! I got a beading book from her =)

Went to frontier with Randal and Yik Heng for CO practice. Practice was kind of fun, since we were given a primary school SYF CO piece. No doubts, the standard of the primary school was quite shocking for me. Based on today, I feel that there are much more practice to be done. After the practice, went to MAC and having a little chat. Bus homed and ended having stomach; so not going there to eat again.

Most forgetting, today is April's fool day and I have been trick by 2 evil person.
First is Randal, the shrek.
Second is Shu Zhen (who make me official broke the Guinness World Record by tricking me three times straight in a row within a minute).

But no worries =) I'm also evil like them tooo =)
I have just added them to the "Eyebrows to be burn" list that I have set up =)
Just awaiting to see them without their eyebrows =)

Interview..

Went for the job interview anyway since I have promise the other party to go down. The interview went well. I was interview by four people and they are quite please with my performance and wanted to hire me. But they don't want people to work as temp since they wanted permant stuffs working under them.

Anyway, I was quite happy. This is my first time having an official interview by so many people and I'm not nervous. I do hope the next interview (hoping is coming soon which I believe), will be like this; no nervous breakdown.

PS: I just have to be confident of myself =)

Got a call early in the morning from the job agency stating that I was shortlisted for an interview. I was super happy but later found out wasn't what I expected it was. Feeling a little disappointed.

CO practice was as usual and fun =) Lao Shi commented on Sunday incident and after the whole thing, was feeling kind of awkward.

Poor Mei Ling was suffering throughtout the whole CO practice. We were all disturbing her =)
Bascially, she has four new nick name:
1) 白骨精 (by Randal)
2) White bone goddess (by Randal)
3) Bag of bones (by Shu Zhen, who is feeling super proud of it)
4) Sugar cane (by me)

The reason I called her sugar cane is because that when we squeeze or crush sugar cane; there would be definitely juice coming out compare to bamboo =)

Went to bugis with Randal, Yik Heng, Wei Jie and Mei Ling to shop for CO stuffs. Managed to get a Liu Qin Book from one of the shop =)

Anyway, the day pass with our laughter, kind of interesting =) Most forgetting that, we have somehow decided that Mei Ling to become RPCO unique selling point (just joking). She will be dressing up as Avatar and attracting the new year one people to join RPCO. I totally support the idea =)

If Mei Ling dress up as Avatar (so going to take a photo with her),
Randal would have to dress up as Shrek (since I think he look totally cool in green with the cute ears on his head),
Yik Heng would dress up as Winnie the Pooh (with his honey jar with him),
Wei Jie would dress up as Carrot (with the green stalk on his head),

And for me,
I think I would be just myself =)
But too bad,
RANDAL aka Shrek wants me to dress up as a rabbit,

Up and down

Went to BB for practice usual. There will be a lots of songs we will be playing and the songs are pretty hard. After the BB practice travelled down to RP by a taxi. This "stupid taxi driver" took a super super long route to RP and causing four freaking uphappy event.

Firstly, we were super late for practice at school.
Secondly, all the members are waiting for us as they do not have the keys to open the door to take their instruments.
Thirdly, we got a scolding from lao shi which freak me out. Totally did not excepted it to happen like that in the first place. Now making me scared of him =(
Fourthly, making me having car sick all the way to RP, nearly vomited in the car.

Practice awhile at school and somehow lao shi mood back to normal. Then move everything back to the bus and travelled down to Jurong East Regional Library. The outcome of the performance was great and nice =) Although, I made a lot of mistakes =( Hope the next performance would be better =)

Went for CO practice again. The whole day went well and I managed to survive through =) Got a comment from lao shi again, kind of good and bad. But seriously, thanks to him, I see myself able to learn something each day. Not in terms in music only but also the attitude and mindset towards I see stuffs. Others might think I lose out but the fact is that I actually gain something - a comment that might be hurtful but helpful in turning me to be better. I remember Lao ma told me this. When you lose out, it does not mean that you have lost the game. But you have actually gain something - a lesson out of it.

A life of a musician to success (Part II)

As mention I it before, musician's life is hard. The moment we decided to be a musician, we are bound to have comments/statements that are hurtful. But, sometimes is hard for one to understand why we have to accept it. But why, do we still have to accept it? Isn't we contradicting ourselves?

I believe that asking someone to accept the comments/statements given by others is the most painful thing in their life. To be precise, a musician have to swallow their tears into their stomach no matter what they faced - just keeping swallowing. They can't show that emotions; just taking what they see or hear and finding ways to improve themselves to be better. Sometimes crying make matter worse. The musician's heart must be big too as to able to take in everything that was say - regardless is a good or bad comment/statement.

Too be honest, I am already doing for myself and I have already sense the pain that was brought to me. I can't say that I'm totally immunize to it but I do sense the pain. At some point of the time of these days, I nearly to break down and cry but I did not as this is making me weak. Most importantly, after crying will I improve? The answer is maybe. It is still up to the individual.

There are times that the person might feel that it is unfair to be given such comments/statements. It is true, I believe. I can see that what he say to you had already upset you. But why not treat it as the person is giving you a push in the back - a push that will make you take a step forward where the spotlight will shine on you rather than standing at the same current spot where you use to be unnoticeable. Although, the push has make you fall, but I believe you are capable climbing up yourself.

Why not think it another way. We know that no one is perfect in this world. Same goes to the music that we played. There is no such word as perfection in music - there are tends to be some errors in it. Thus, comments/statements eventually appear. This is because that we often don't see any fault in ourselves or the music we played and we just need that extra point of view of others to be able to learn from the mistake that we did not notice or make.

So, don't be upset for too long. Gather up your courage and fight the comment. Win this battle =) I believe in you winning this battle.

When to CO practice and a lot of things happen, mostly unhappiness, regardless is it individual or toward other people. One word to describe the whole day, "sian" =(

As usual, got a scolding from lao shi again, using the same phrase that he say before, a couple of times. I just hate it when he say that, I feel that it is quite a hurtful remark =( Don't worry, I will be fine, the same old me will be be back again =) All I just need time to reflect about myself. Or I'm using the time doubting myself? Who knows, I'm the only one will know....

A life of a musician to success

What is a life of being an musician to his success? Well, there is no doubt that that a musician life to success is a tough - a bumpy ride. There are lots of obstacles obstructing the way. We will need to take each step carefully and slowly to overcome it - no point rushing as it might hurt ourseleves. We will need to overcome it so we can improve and more forward to meet more obstacles that is ahead of us. Althought being hurt by these obstacles is no doubt but this is how we learn and become better.

There is one thing that a musician must always remember in mind which I believe. Regardless whether it is an insult, criticism or a scolding, we have to accept it, no matter what. Even thought, the statement maybe cruel or hurtful, we still have to accept it. That's right!!!

The reason is simple, when we take in such statement, we will improve. As we are taking in such statements, we are already reflecting on ourselves as what could have causes us to be given such statements by others. Once we are able to see it, we will be able to change or improve and make it better.

Sometimes, I feel that we all deserved to be given such statement. This is because that some people just need that extra push to keep that moving forward and succeeding to becoming better. No doubt, I'm one of them. Athought, that push has made me thumbled down the stairs from where I stand, leaving me in pain; shattering my hopes and dreams. But I believe that I am capable of climbing back to where I am stand before or maybe even higher - proving to myself that I won't let you pushing me down the stairs again.

No matter what happen. We must 咬紧牙关，坚持下去!!!

Another day has pass and waiting for the call is still in process. Practice piano and liu qin. Still trying to improve the basic foundation for both, rather weak foundation =( No worries, I think as there is still hope right?

Another day of CO

Meet up with Mei Ling, Randal, Yik Heng and Shu Zhen, travelled down to frontier for practice. Practice some songs, a bit struggling with one song. After the practice, went to Mac with Gene and Mei Ling and have ice cream =) Sat there quite long and chat for a while. Kind of fun =)

Went to RPCO as usual. There will be a few upcoming performance for this month so there are more practices for me =) After CO went to Mos Burger and slack a bit with the rest.

When will the person call me to go for the job interview and confirm my future working place?
Although, waiting is unavoidable (as it would probably takes up to two weeks or more so).
Now waiting for it to happen has now allowing me to wander aimlessly in this world.
There is hope awaiting which I believe so I have to be patience.
However, I'm afraid that the more I wait the more despair I become.
Patience, strength to believe and hope is what I really need!!!
But it is so obvious that currently "waiting" is now the hardest part of my life....

When for piano exam. Screw up at the exams pieces, play wrong notes straight for the three pieces. I remember the songs, the notes, the melody and it is at my fingertip, but I can't believe that I make mistake. Sight reading, aural test and scales was alright. There goes my distinction =(

Feeling like knocking my head against the wall. A huge disappointment. Piss off with myself. AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Tiring day

Went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital to visit the medical laboratory, a place/sector that I will be working in.

After the trip, travelled down to RP since there is CO practice session. Went I reach there, I was shocked. Only a few people came for the practice. I was struggling there since I have to reply on myself. Lao Shi was consistently catching me since there is only a few of us. I will die in his hand.

Trying my best

Slacking at home as usual since I have already graduated from RP. But there are a lots of things for me to do. I need to work!!!!

Having been practice for an hour on the piano examination pieces, another 13 more days, I will be having the practical examination. Kind of scarily. I better pass since I pay quite a lot for the examination fee.

Finally, able to completely play one piano piece that I have been learning for months, although it is kind of slow =)

A super fun and tiring day

Went to frontier for the CNY performance, will be performing 4 songs and I'm already losing my focus since I'm getting nervous - butterflies in the stomach. I remember clearly that we were playing the song, Love Story, and after the song, my hands are already trembling. I think too nervous as I managed to survive somehow. After the performance, the super nice MC help everyone to get red packet from the minister. Another red packet into my collection =)

After that, cab down to BB for CO practice with the same people since Lao Shi was rushing us. Practice session was a killer, have to sight read a new score that will be performing on March and practice a bit and starting playing as a group. DIE there. After practice session, went to have lunch and got my super favourite food =)

Went to supermarket to get mandarin oragnes since Randal, Yik Hung, Hisean Hsean and I will be visiting Lao Shi later and some of us do not have mandarin oranges with us. Did something stupid in the supermarket. We saw the oranges and wonder is it the mandarian oranges we wanted since the name is called Kino Mandarian which we presume that is the one we are searching for =)

After we got the "mandarian oranges" and travelled down to Dover MRT station which later on we found out that we got the "mandarian oranges" are NORMAL ORANGES. LOL!!!! So dumb of us. Anyway, we still use it to 拜年. I wonder lao shi notice it. Stayed at lao shi's house quite long since lao shi is talking about his life story and kind of interesting tooo =)

While we were on bus on the way to interchange, we were laughing like crazy, saying stupid stuffs - things that does not make sense. But still, it is super funny.

PS: I think we are the first group of people using normal oranges thinking that it is mandrain organes to 拜年.

Went for Piano lesson. Miss Tham was preparing me for the aural section which is part of the piano practical examination. Too be honest, the aural section isn't that easy =(

I have to sing out the melody that was played, clapping and guessing the time signature for the melody that was played, listening for melody or rythme change (provided explainations) and testing our listening skills (providing explaination about the melody that was played).

This means that I have to be ALERT at all times. OH MY GOD!!!

Thanks to the ferrero rocher that I have eaten so far, around ten for the past two days, has given nothing but in returned ITCH. I having itch for two days and hope it stops tomorrow.

A trip around singapore town

Went to meet Shu Zhen, Randal and Yik Hung at bugis to shop for the strings for RP. It is a tired and hot day. I was laughing non-stop today and I think it got to with the ferrero rocher that I ate in the morning. The rest thinks I crazy enough to eat ferrero rocher when I'm allergic to nuts stuffs. I think it is alright, although I think I'm starting to itch =( It will take some time for the itch to stop =(

After that, travelled down to school. Everyone is was completely tired, dozing off in the train. Managed to catch some power nap, althought my headache is back again. Practice the songs for frontier performance this sunday, hopping that I do not screwed up. Stayed for awhile and travelled down to frontier and practice the performance songs. Kill myself there as usual.

PS: Hope nothing bad happen on that day.

I have come to a decision already. Decided to submit my application for Singapore Uni. Hopping, mainly praying hard that I can get a spot to futher study. Although, I have a feeling that it is in possible but there is no harm in trying (since a lot of people told me that). Decided to give it a try as I don't any regrets in later part of my life.

Today is my first CO practice as a alumni student of RP. Kind of weird, being an alumni already. It is unbelievable that three years have pass and now there are lots of things for me to prepare for the future.

Went to meet Randal early and have a early practice session. Get to learn to play xiao ruan and da ruan. I love xiao ruan but da ruan is too big for me to play. Decided to borrow xiao ruan home to practice =) Lao pa is so going to nag at me again, since I have one school zhong ruan and liu qin at home already and now I bring home another instrument again =) Practice is quite stressful and is giving me headache, since we were practising mo li hua which is a torture song. Manage to survive through but need more practice.

CNY days

1st day
This year CNY is different. We're not going to Lao pa side to celebrate CNY since ah ma pass away last year. Kind of miss ah ma.

Went to cousin house (Lao ma side) quite early and slacking, basically feeling bored. Relative and cousins disturbing red packets and as usual being bombard with questions. The first question asked by my aunt, left me laughing awkwardly to myself as I left the room.

Hang around with my younger cousins and played with my nieces/nephews and after a while went back to the table and continue to munching CNY goodies =P There are so much delicious goodies that I wishes to eat but I can't. Have to consistently check the food content before eating since I'm allergic to nuts, especially to peanuts =( Ahhhh, can't remember the taste already and cousin keep on tempting me. The other time for CNY, I didn't check and eat a goodie that contain peanuts and ended up having itch for three weeks =(

Went to play with cousin's dog, TOTO. Nice name right. The dog is cute and big. It is super friendly and not scared when there is stranger. But one thing I hate about it is that TOTO kept stepping on my feet each year for CNY. As usual again, she did it again.

2nd day
Woke up early and went to uncle house. Waited for the bus which is super long. Slacking at there as usual. Cousin give as each a cup of drink, basically brandy which I think is 20% content alcohol. It doesn't taste nice at all. Lao pa drink it and his whole face turned red. We were all laughing at him. Eventually, he dozed off later, still implying that he uses his "九阳镇静" to release all the alcohol out of his body which makes his face and body turn red. LOL!!!!

3rd day
Should be going to my gan ma house (also lao ma's elder sister) to have a reunion gathering early in the morning. Waited for lao ma to finish her work and travelled down together with gu gu as well. But ended not going, since everyone has left and there is no point going anymore. Kind of wasted my time =(

PS: I think I turning fat. Eating too much CNY goodies which I like =）

Went to BB for CO practice and have lunch as usual. Piss off with my friends for the last minute back out =(

After lunch, travelled down to Esplanade with Yik Hung and Randal to watch the Ruan ensemble concert. Something happen while watching the concert and Randal was so going to kill me. The people in the ruan ensemble are amazing. After the concert, went to Mac to slack a bit. Got myself apple pie and it is simply delicious.

Next travelled down to boon lay again and wait for my friend to come to fetch me. Accompany Randal and Yik Hung while waiting for Shu Zhen at JP, since they are going to frontier to have dinner.

Btw, thanks Shu Xian for bringing me there =) Was emoing there, since I practical only know a few people there.

My brain is dead

A day at CO

When to BB for CO practice session again. 陈运珍 lao shi has come to teach the tan po yue section again. I was so called having private lesson from her =) She corrected my bad habits and teach me how to play mo li hua. It was kind of fun. 陈运珍 lao shi was extremely patient with me, normally normal people will be vomiting blood when they are teaching me =) After the practice session as usual went to have lunch.

Something to share and I find it funny. It will be my best memory in my life. Ronald make Randal to help me with the CNY songs since he has complaint that the liu qin sound has completely disappear into the air when playing with the orchestra =) While Randal goes through the songs with me, Ronald comes and sits beside me and say "来弹给老师听". LOL!! I was laughing on the spot. I feel that I was back in my primary school days again =)

After class, went for CO practice again. Practice session was same per normal and I am still trying to survive through. On the way home, everyone went crazy, we were singing CO songs and CNY songs in acapella. It sounds kind of cool.

I just feel people who either compose or arrangement musics/songs are totally amazing. They interpret the song/music different and it can sound so amazing. I remember someone told me before that composers' sense are mixed up. They are actually have the ability to feel the notes, smell the notes, taste the notes and etc. This is why they have the ability to write such amazing music. One classic example is Beethoven, although he becomes deaf but still able to write amazing pieces of music. As goes to the arranger too, like Jon Schmidt and many more... I just wonder what are they exactly thinking. I believe they have a purpose either composing or arranging song/music, I wonder what they are? =P

I hope one day I will have the chance to do =)

Sore throat

Still having sore throat and it is killing me!! Today lesson was super bored, I seriously have problem understanding what the facilitator was saying!! Lesson end quite early and went to meet Genevieve. Went to have dinner with Randal, Shu Zhen, Joel, Cassandra and Yik Heng at TRCC cafe. LOL!! I seriously have to stop going there...

After the dinner, went back to the practice room first since Ronald is already there waiting for us to finish our food while the rest went to get bubble tea. Went to help to find the scores that Lao shi wants and he was behind scolding the three Er Hu girls!! I was totally shocked by it. Practice session was normal today except without the dizi people around, sounds a bit quiet. Seriously need to practice a lot, I'm totally nagging behind the others =(

After class, went to meet Genevieve and went to the practice room. Finally, get to hear the actual performance "Reflection" recording from Randal's laptop and was totally shocked by it. Some parts could not be heard and some parts sounded like a "evil aura" has stopped by. Hope that the upcoming "Reflection" recording don't sounds so bad.

Today, CO practice was kind of fun, practice chinese new year songs and love story from taylor swift. Love story is fun, but still die anyway. Randal was inimating the cellist in the video who played with the pianist called Love story meets Viva La Vida. It sounds similar. I am totally addicted to this song =P I just don't know why but it will just wants you move with the music. After the practice session, trained home with Mei Ling and WeiJie (aka tailor swee) LOL!!!!

Went to BB for CO practice session and practice some songs. After that, went to have lunch together and trained home. Decided to walk home instead of taking the bus, is a long time I did that. LOL!!! The weather is freaking hot and I was sweating like mad, going to have heat stroke soon =(

Woke early to completely the unfinished RJ and practice Liu Qin for the performance later at frontier later. My fingers are in pain already since there practice session with Randal and Yik heng yesterday. Thanks for their help with songs, especially helping me with the love story. A super nice song composed by Carrot.

Went for piano lesson and usually was having fun practicing. Miss Tham wanted to go to see the performance but she will be working until 9pm so decided to invite her to the next CO concert either BBCC or RP instead. Rush down to bus stop and take the bus to frontier.

Something happen later on and I think I might the only person have this happen on me. I was taking my turn to aboard the bus and I was about to aboard the bus, the bus driver close the door and I was trap!!! LOL!!! Since the person in front was so tall and the bus driver might not see me as I was too short!! Totally embarrassed by it, will remember it for live!!! =)

Meet Gene at the frontier entrance. Practice the performance songs a bit and waited for the performance to start. I think some of the songs I smoked my way through the songs, basically "move with the music", especially the Bu Bu Gao song. After the second performance, walked Gene to the MRT station and bused home. Totally feel lethargic. Still like the cruel tempation theme song and the love story the best. =)

Intensive practice session

Had a mini disagreement with Lao pa early in the morning over Long-ge's 12 choice of diploma courses. He was upset because that he think the first choice that he choose was not good and thinks the job prospective isn't that good. Starting my day unhappy already.

After class, went to take the keys and card from Randal for the practice session later. Randal and Yik Heng help me with songs for tomorrow performance. Hope all this paid off, although it is kind of last minute. After the practice session, trained home. Totally exhausted after long hours of practising.

Went to the polyclinic, super early to check what's wrong with my right eye. Took the bus and lost count of the number of bus stop have pass since I was distracted by something. I saw a cockroach in front of me crawling around the chair's handle, totally freak out. The stupid cockroach was crawling left and right and suddenly disappear. I started to look around me wondering whether it has crawl onto me or not until I reach my stop.

Reach the polyclinic around 7.45am took a queue number and waited to register. While waiting for my turn, a lot of people started to come in. It seems that people tend to get sick easily. But luckily I come early, otherwise, I will have to wait quite long.

Finally, is my turn to see the doctor and it is my first time visiting the doctor alone, kind of scared. Told the doctor about the condition and he ensure that it is something minor and ask me to wait for a few more weeks to observe before referring to a eye specialized. Bused home later and feeling so tired already.

Rest at home for a while and travelled down to school for just for the Epidemiology and Health Promotion UT 2 which lasts only 45 mins since I have my school off-day on Monday. UT ended and found out I did one part wrong!! LOL!! Marks gone!!! Trained home later and got myself a Kinder Joy =)

Get to know what Long-ge score for his O'level results. Quite shocked by his results as I did not expect this is what he has scored. Lao ma say nothing but Lao pa kept nagging and complaining about it. Relatives kept message asking bro's score and Lao ma just ignore the message. LOL!!! Some people are just so busybody... just want to compare how smart their kids are.

I remember the other time, I took my PSLE result and my aunt called up asking how I have performed. She told Lao ma that her daughter who is my cousin (表姐） is in express stream. When she got to know that when I was in normal academic stream, she told this to my Lao ma.. "Both of you don't look stupid, why she get into normal academic stream" LOL!! This is so insulting not only to my parents but me too!! I HATE THEM... Forget it, it's has been a long time.

All I just hope is that bro is able to get into a polytechnic to study a course that is suitable for him, will not recommand him come to RP since he is a loner.

A day without my phone

Went to BB for CO practice without bringing my phone out with me. I did not notice it until I was on the bus to interchange. Often heard from my friends that they can't live without their phone if it is not with them but I think I can survive through. The only problem faced is that I don't remember my friends' phone number only one or two numbers so I can't contact them at all if I want to find them.

Today did not practice any new songs but only discuss the plans for this year and the items to performed for the upcoming performance at July. Different pieces of songs were chosen and all have a certain level of difficultly. LOL!!! This means that I am left with 6 months to learn and master all the songs.

PS: This coming week will be super tired for me. I need more brain cells now!!! Will be burning midnight oil to study for UT test!!!

Tommorrow, Long-ge will be taking his O' level results and hope he does well, otherwise, Lao ma and Lao pa will surely nag at him. He says that he dreamt that what he would be scoring and hope it comes true. Promise him that if he pass and do well for it, will buy him a few packets of bob-dog sweets for him.

Shocking news

Went for Piano lesson and found out that my piano teacher has decided to quit her job around March which is around my Piano examination and I will be going to switch my piano teacher again.
I was totally in shocked.

She told me the reason why she is quiting and she even as me whether I want to be her private student. I have no idea whether I should or not!! She is a nice piano teacher and I'm used to her style of teaching.

It seems that year 2010, there is a lot of ups and down for me. It is the only beginning of the year and so many things I will need to face and make decision. It is killing my brain cells.

Third day of CO

After school, went to meet genevieve at TRCC for dinner before going to the froniter for CO. Waited for Yik Heng to after his UT. After dinner, went to meet Hisean Hisean at Boon Lay interchange and walked to the froniter.

Today, practice session is not at the hall so we were at the back of the hall practising. Everybody is squeezing together. Practice quite a few songs and managed to play some but most of the time die. After the practice session, went to have some drinks at KFC and bused home later.

Second day of CO

Finally school holiday has ended. Today, lesson was interesting but I was feeling tired as my right eye is having random pain. Still seeing spots floating around my vision... LOL!!! I'm really getting old. Really need to see a doctor.

After class, went to meet Genevieve, Yik Heng and Shu Zhen for dinner at TRCC cafe, just loves the food there. Hisean Hisean was there waiting for us and have already started eating. After that, when to the practice room and practice a bit and ended up chatting since there is no instructor. Trained home with Shu Zhen after that.

PS: Thank Genevieve for the Banana chip, the taste is really very nice.

Welcoming 2010!!

Happy New Year, 2010!!!
Time seems to pass very fast and 2010 has come already.
Another few more days, I will be starting school.
Another few more weeks, I will be graduating from RP already.
Another few more months, I will be turning 21. LOL!!!

It is time to set new resolution for 2010.
(1) Pass my Piano practical examination grade 1, maybe a distinction.
(2) Do well for school UT exams.
(3) Able to get a job after graduation.
(4) Able to get into University.
(5) Able to continue to learn and play Liu Qin.
(6) Save up for braces.
(7) Find one day to do kite flying.
(8) Stay happy..

I can't think of any now, so this will be the few goals that I will be achieving for this year.

Came across this video at youtube is from my seconday school Chinese Orchestra. This is the "only" video I manage to find. I'm not in the video since this video is taken at year 2000, still in primary 5 at that time. The song played is 男儿当之强, one classic piece that was played all the time since I joined the CO. Saw some of my seniors in the video and the instructor. Really miss the time in CO in the secondary life and my friends there, too bad CO life only last for three years before it was closed down.

Went to BB to practice some songs for a while and have lunch. Chat a bit while waiting for the rain to stop. Went to the new interchange and bused home. I think I have bad luck for the past four days as I have been getting injuries for four straight days in a row. How amazing is that.

CO BBQ

It's my first time attempt to make 3 pizza today. Normally the pizza is made by lao ma and it is super nice. Lao ma help me put the ingredients and bake the pizza while I knead the dough. Lao pa and bros thinks that I will blow up the kitchen and each time bro come in, they will look at me and say "booms". LOL!!! It took lao ma and I, 3 hours to bake finish. After the pizza is already, rush out to meet Geneivene, Mei Ling and Justina at Jurong Point to shop for log cake. Never try log cake before, hope it is nice.

When to Ronald's house to wait for the rain to stop and later bring things down to the BBQ pit. It took us hours to able to start the fire. It is really a tiring job. Make a new friend, Ronald's nephew. Play some games together and lose a couple of times and have to eat the leftover logcake, is super sweet. Anyway, the whole day was quite fun.

Went to Wei Jie's CO again. His friend will be there teaching so hope can learn something from him. I think seriously his friend really vomited blood out, I can see how stress he is in trying to teach us to PLAY LOUDER and the different techniques. He is super nice, helping me with the songs later. But still die anyway..haizzzz

After CO, bus home. Since is Christmas Eve, I was running around the house for no reason and accidently kick on the stool and hurt my toe. It is so painful and it bled too. LOL!!! My eyes are really on top of my head, not looking at where I walked.

Manage to get some sleep last night, I have surely learn my lesson already not to drink tea or coffee at evening time. When for practice early. On the way to school, Jason called and trick me that the CO practice is cancelled as Yik Heng went home with keys....lol. I actually believe it. Accompany Yik Heng, Randal and Jason for lunch, talked a lot of stupid things.

Today practice was kind of slack. We ended discussing how to improve the year one intake next year for CO and the possible songs to perform for "Reflection". Everyone went off early once the practice ended and left Yik Heng, Randal and me only. I was a bit crazy today, laughing all the way. I turning mad.

Something stupid happen later on. I wanted to wait for them in the practice room while they put the scores and instrument back. Thanks to Randal trying to scare me, I ended leaving the room with them. After we put the things back and while we were walking out room, we hear a guy voice behind us. I turn around to take a look and saw no one and the moment I turn back. Mr. Randal run first and followed by Yik Heng, running off without me cause they got scared. LOL!!!!

I got scared too and was also running after them, trying to grab Randal's bag, till they finally stop at the lift. We got scared of nothing, since there was actually a guy talking. Went to Long John Silver to have dinner with them and chat a bit. Trained home quite late.

PS: I'm not the only scarily cat!!! Randal is also!!!

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve already!!!

Walking Zombie

I seriously need some sleep, I'm now a walking zombie roaming around the house. I wasn't able to sleep the whole night, I was totally awake till morning. It is really a torture. Thanks to the yuan yang drink, for dinner last night. When to school for a short CO practice. Yik Heng and Genevieve went only. Practice a bit and ended up chatting with Genevieve. I was totally slacking there, trying to get some sleep, leaning on the chair like a dead fish. I think the caffeine levels are still high inside me.

Hope I can sleep tonight.

Outing with friends

I went crazy today and bro went crazy with me too. Went to practice piano for exactly 2 hours on the same song, called "Pathetique Sonata 2nd Movement", I'm sure my neighbour also have become sick of it too. The piano score I have is the easy version not exactly the actual version. But the song is nice. Manage to practice half of it. I actually manage to master half of the song so happy. I add this song to the playlist. However, this song is more advance one.

Evon manage to organize a gathering at Ice bar inside the snow city at 5pm. Vanessa, Chu Ying, Shu Xian, Fiona, Evon came for the gathering. Everyone was excited to meet each other. Vanessa was the happiest one. The moment she saw us, she came and hug each of us.

However, instead of going to Ice bar since Vanessa said it is close today. So we travelled down to Vivo city to "Serenity Spanish bar and restaurant". Manage to order something that does not contain alcoholic, the others says it taste funny but I kind of like it. After the drinks, we went to the Hong Kong Kim Gary restaurant to have dinner. The food there was not bad. We were laughing crazily and talking about our secondary school friends. I was shocked about the news of my secondary school classmates. Train home quite late with them. But I really have fun with them.

Vanessa accidently hurt my right eye and is really red just now but now is not so red already. Although, the blood vessels still can been seen. Now in pain. Hope it gets better by tomorrow morning.

PS: Congrats to Mei Ting!!! She is pregnant with her second child now and having her baby next month.

When to BB to practice for the concert later, quite nervous about it. Mr. Tan treat us for lunch later on. Lao ma come again to support me since I sponsor her the ticket. During the concert, I have official screwed up the performance especially for the Jiang Jun Liang. Argggg. Angry with myself...

Tomorrow will be meeting my secondary school friends at don't know what place called "ice bar". It has been a long time we go out with each other. Hear a lot of people have change so much. Hope we have fun..

Worried

Went for piano lesson late as I can’t remember what the timing for the lesson is. I have been trying to remember to since last night and the moment I woke up in the morning I remember the timing, kind of weird. I think I have short term memory loss.

Learning to play piano is my dream since young. But everyone can play the pieces so beautifully and emotionally. I just wonder can I do it too. I always envy these people and dream one day I might like them to. I’m sure I can do it but it takes time and lots of practice, just one day… still waiting for the day to come.

Decided to change the songs again to some nice piano pieces, the pianist is able to play the various songs so beautiful and emotionally. I found couple of songs that I like and I’m totally engrossed. My most favorite piano piece is currently from the movie “Laputa: Castle in the sky”, the theme song. I think is called the”天空之城 - Carrying you”. I have no idea what is the correct song name. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.

Finally, the BB concert is tomorrow and I am currently having butterfly in my stomach. I am afraid that I screwed up the performance. I will get nervous when it comes to performance all the time; my legs will start to tremble, the indication of me being nervous. I remember my first performance with the CO in secondary school, my legs trembled and I am super nervous. It is kind of stupid. I just wonder why some people have the courage and confident to perform on the stage without feeling nervous. I might want them to share a bit of their courage and confident with me.

Slacking

Suppose to be meeting my friends but they last minute back out again. Went to Jurong Point and shop for a long black sleeves blouse. Walk the whole shopping center and finally got what I wanted in a affordable price.

Practice the songs for the BB a while and the new songs, trying to get the fingering right. Bro thinks it is a noise pollution. Will be ignoring him for a while as he kept pestering me to cook for him, once he is hungry.

I have been slacking for this week. No more slacking, there are a lots of things for me to do. Having piano lesson tomorrow and hope everything goes well, no more scolding from piano teacher. The exam is coming up and I better not failed it.

When to Wei Jie's CO at the frontier with Genevieve. Practice quite a few songs that was played before, somehow to manage to survive through a bit and make mistake all the way through. After the practice session, accompany Genevieve to Long John Silver to have dinner. Sat there quite sometime and chat. Halfway through, stomach pain again. I think there is something wrong with my stomach, must skip eating fast food for some time. Walked Genevieve to the MRT station and bus home, went home quite late.

Torture day

Today practice session was quite fun and I was a bit suffering learning the new songs. The songs are nice but so many high notes, a challenge for me. It is amazing at Ronald never scold me but only nag a bit at me. I will need to a lot of practice for sure. After practice session, went to KFC with Justina, Jason, Genevieve and Marilyn to have dinner. Their food look tempting but my stomach isn't feeling well so have to skip this meal again. Reach home quite late again.

CO practice

Went to CO practice at 3 plus and went to practising mainly the BB songs that will be performing this coming Sunday. I'm seriously dead meat, still struggling at some songs... how am I going to survived through the whole concert.

After CO practice ended, went to Mos Burger to have dinner. I can say that we are quite crazy there, laughing non-stop at nonsense stuffs that were mention each time. Trained home with Shu Zhen.

Tomorrow would be a long and torture day for me.... Will be practising new songs, which are nice but totally stunned me by the score for Liu Qin, so many high notes.... Can I survived through?

Last day of school!!!!

Finally, today is the last day of school. I'm so happy. But when school reopens, there will be three UT awaiting, stress again. Today lesson ended super early and waited for Randal to end his UT to have a mini CO practice and to practice all the BB songs. After the practice session, went to 7-eleven to grab something to eat.

Counting down to this Sunday concert, pretty nervous. I'm afraid that I will screwed up the tan po yue songs.

Late again for BB. Practice all the songs with the whole orchestra and partially dying at one song. After lunch, continue to practice the 3 tan po yue songs. Since I do not have the scores with me, I am completely trying to remember all the notes with the help at looking at the Pi pa's score. I wonder how was able to do so, since I have known to have short term memory. Hope everything goes well for the concert. Why does each CO concert stress me out so much?

FYP Presentation

A chaotic day for me. Should be meeting my FYP friends at 7.30am at school to prepare for the FYP presentation at 8.45am but I ended up waking up at 7.20am. Thanks to my phone shutting down by itself due to low battery, althought it was full battery before I sleep. I wanted to cry and was running around the house throwing all the relevant notes and items that was needed for the presentation into my bag and bath quickly before rushing out of the house. I was completely in a mess.

Took the taxi to school. Thanks to the taxi uncle, I was able to reach school by 8.10am, just enough time for me to prepare for the presentation. When the presentation started, I was very nervous. I can't remember what I am going to present for the presentation. But everything went well so far, I hope can get a good grade for this presentation. The evaluation took quite long, we are the last team for the whole morning session.

PS:
Finally FYP has finally ended and now I can do a lot of things now since I have so many free time for now. I am going to enjoy it before I graduate from RP. Thinking about graduation, I am pretty nervous about it when the date is getting closer each day, so many things going through my mind.

Sick and sad day

Down with flu and still went to BBCCCO practice. Randal, Joel, Cassandra, Shu Zhen, Wei Jie and Yik Heng were at there too. Genevieve was sick and not able to come to practice. Today, practice session has completely killed me, no improve at all. The concert is coming up in 2 weeks time and I still have made any improvement. After lunch, Yik Heng and Wei Jie left first. The rest went to the udder to have ice cream. Finally, get to try to "cookies and cream" ice cream. It is simply delicious. Then trained home.

I just can't believe I cry over this... is kind of stupid. I'm not usually like that one, just don't known what's going throught my head. I should 看开一点, taking it as a challenge. If I act like this again, just slap or knock me on head hardly and tell me it is not the end of the world.

PS: I wish now there is a kite where I can fly my problems away from me.

Crazy day

After class has ended, when to meet with Genevieve, Justina, Jason and Mei Ling to have dinner together before going to CO practice. While we were eating, we play some games. It was fun.

During CO practice, I was having fun there. Although, I die. It is not the first time already, I really hope I can manage to survive through the next round. Randal got his Grade 6 Zhong Ruan examination results, he got 91/100, a distinction. Genevieve also got her Grade 4 Di Zhi examination results, she passed. Great work both of you. Both of you own me a banana pocky..... hehe. I feel that if it was me taking the examination for Liu Qin, I will surely failed as I can't even play a song well enough.

After CO practice, we went to causeway point to meet Marilyn. Justina went home first and the rest of us went to the mos burger. Once again, I order ice milk tea and I hope I will be able to sleep tonight and doing my RJ at the same time. We were laughing all the way chatting about "something". Later on, Jason turned to become a Hokkien priest at a church. He was say the marriage vows in Hokkien, it was very hilarious. Trained home with Mei Ling.

PS: I have been think a lot of things lately. I kind of feeling demoralized. Sad.... Wanting to go kite flying and let go the problems...

Dumb Dumb me

Actually, I have no school today which I suppose to be in school but the school change the timetable which I did not take note. Stupid me. Now, I don't have school on Tuesday which I totally hated it as I have to go back to school for CO. I still prefer to have school from Tuesday to Friday and Monday as my offday. Never mind, I will be graduating soon so just get use to it.

I have been slacking at home. Bro pass me a new game, Parasite Eve and I totally bad at it. I only manage to kill three monster and I die, game over, barely even in the first stage. It is a mentally stress game. Bro was laughing at me as I was screaming all the way as I still haven get hold of controlling the main character. After that, Lao ma suddenly craze to eat pizza and we order to Canadian pizza. It was nice and delicious.

NYPCO concert

Piano lesson was fun today. I managed to pull off all the three exam pieces and my piano teacher actually said, good. I was extremely happy. We have a mini chat about the piano exams that I will be taking on Feb next year. I hope I pass the practical exams.

Went to meet Jason, Justina and Genevieve at City hall to have dinner before attending the NYP Chinese Orchestra concert, "Musical Variation". We walked all the way to Suntec City to the restaurant called "Just Noodle". The food there is nice and delicious. By the time, we finish our food, it is already 7pm. We quickly rush down to meet Jeff at the City MRT station. It is a long away there.

By the time, we reach there, the concert have started. We stayed outside and watch the concert at the plasma screen. I was shocked. It was so jazz and is a pretty long song. When the song ended, we went in and found seats which is located near to the front. Although it is so close to the orchestra but from my position, I can see the Liu Qin players. Throughout the whole concert, I was totally amazed by their skills. They are so "LOUD" and good. I just wish to be like them.

After the concert, we went to Lao Ba Sha to meet Wei Jie to have dinner/supper. We stay there for quite some time before going home. There was a band playing at that time and Jason when to them and ask them to play, One night in Beijing. They are good. We order tea, which I presume and oyster omelette. The drink is nice but I didn't really enjoyed the oyster omelette. I find the oyster taste funny, I kind of like the egg as it is a bit crispy, although I don't fancy egg much.

Trained home with Wei Jie to Boon Lay. By the time I reach Boon Lay is already 12am. I'm serious in deep trouble. Waited quite long for the bus.

Ouch!!

Clumsy me again. While I was cleaning my spectacle, I accidentally broke one of the side of the spectacle and now is seriously crooked. Seriously clumsy and it is not the first time. The other time, I accidentally sat on my spectacles and it is slightly bent but is fixed. But this time around, I have either have to change the frame of it or get a new spectacle and seriously it cost a bomb. Anyway still went to school with that stupid crooked spectacle, just hope no one would notice it.

Today lesson is Haematology and it is really fun. I did try to do the venipuncture on a dummy hand and I did manage get to draw fake "blood" from the dummy hand after A FEW TRIES. Luckily is a dummy otherwise if it is a real person, I will just say good luck. The main thing is that when I did the venipuncture on the dummy hand, I am not afraid at all. But it comes to doing venipuncture on me, I totally freak out. I remember the first time I draw my blood (venipuncture), I freak out and cried, totally embarrassed by my action.

I also had a finger prick on my finger too. I was kind of scared at the beginning as I was afraid of the pain. But the main thing, my team mates did it for me and all of us have no experience. When it is done, it was quite pain and numb. Besides that, we still have to squeeze the blood out!!

PS: We have to fill the blood full in this small test tube and I don't have much blood coming up and everyone in my team mates come over and trying to squeeze the blood out from my finger. We look like a bunch of vampire.

I try the finger prick on my other team mates finger and again not much blood comes to be collected and but luckily the facilitator came over to help me out. I kept apologizing to my team mates as I hurt her during the process of squeezing the blood out.

PS: One of my classmates say that I look evil (laughing) when I was squeezing the blood from the finger, saying that I am a sadist. LOL. It was my first time and honestly, I was quite excited about it. More finger prick will be coming in the next lab session and the other modules, Clinical Chemistry. OH MY GOD. Poor finger of mine, have to squeeze blood out of my finger again. Just like squeezing orange juice from the orange.

After school, when to meet Piggies and Justina and walk to Causeway Point and shop around and went home.

I'm seriosly dead trouble!!

After school, I went straight to the TRCC studio to prepare for the preview. I'm really scared that I make a lot of mistake during the preview and mostly not in the ACTUAL PERFORMANCE. During the rehearsal, I managed to play the songs without having any troubles.

However, when the previews starts, things went out of hand!!!! I totally screwed up two songs and it is the main songs, Jiang Jun Ling and Cao Yuan Shang, where I have some part solo with other instruments and I die there. However, the TRCC management says that they are surprise and happy with the performance that we have put up although there are more improvement to make.

After the preview, I was devastate and afraid that Ronald will scold me and didn't dare to look at him. But he didn't scold me nor nag at me which makes me feel more guilty. After that, I was quite emo. Firstly, due to the I screw up the performance at the preview. Secondly, I was hungry and I have no energy to do anything. Later on, went to TRCC with the rest to have dinner and went home.

PS: Seriously!!! I have to make more improvement and better not screwed up the next preview and the ACTUAL PERFORMANCE!!!!

Welcoming the Evil Master

After class went to meet up with FYP team members to discuss G302 plans with the senior in the Pharama lab. He is like our advisor to us. He help us a lot regardless it is teaching or guiding us in doing the project. I can said that we benefited a lot from his help. But too bad, he going to serve the army soon and leaving his job as a advisor next month. What to do, there is no one that we can turn to for help. During the discussion with him, we talk a lot of things like the plans for G302 and also "bad mouthing" the PI and Co-PI for our team. It was fun to do so.

When for CO practice after the discussion, Ronald would not be there for two weeks. Weeee!!! Time to slack a bit but that is not the case. When I step in the practice room, Randal broke a news to be. He said that Ronald wants him to help me to play louder and precise for every notes and learn new songs within two weeks. OMG!!!! Ronald is getting smarter, he using Randal to put pressure on me!! Smart move. He is one evil master. No more slacking for me already. I have to buck up otherwise when he come back and see no improvement in me, Randal and I will be dead meat especially Randal. Just for the sake for myself and "Randal" not being scold by Ronald. Should I say poor Randal or me? Intensive training with Randal for the whole practice session. Practice end early today and the same group of people went for dinner together at TRCC, although Justina and Yik Heng was not keen to have dinner there.

CO pratice again

The oink family members, Randal and Genevieve went to the BBCCCO for practice again and I was late usual. Today practice session, I can say is an intensive one for me, there is no doubt to it. This is because that the evil master, Ronald is teaching and guiding me with the Jiang Jun Ling, that I always have problem with it. He makes me sing the melody and counting the beat as well. However, with his help, I eventually manage to be able to play it a bit smoothly with the help of it.

He told me that I was able to play the Liu Qin in the volume that he wants but the only think that is lacking from me is…. Well, is the way I play the song. This is because that when I play the song, the melody would seem to be stiff without any emotions in it especially when I am nervous. Ronald consistently reminds me that not to be nervous but be confident of what I am playing. This will be helping me in displaying or portray the emotions into the songs. Although, he consistently remind me that he wants to see me play that particular on Tuesday before walking outside to teach others and turn around giving his evil smile. But what comes to mind that, he is actually a good teacher and what he do and say is the sake for us.

After the practice, we went to Mac to sit down and chit chat for a while before proceeding to the library at west mall. Another stupid thing that I do, I can’t find the book drop and I went in to the library to ask the librarian. It was pretty embarrassed. But who cares, I often do and say stupid things that makes me look stupid.

PS: Borrow a new book at the library and I was amazed the collection of books at west mall library. I might consider going there to borrow books next time.
